The temperature of the brakes are distributed all over the axles up to the wheel hub. The increased operating temperature leads to faster ageing of the bearing grease. The distribution of the temperature over time is determined by the TaL evaluation method. This enables a conclusion concerning the ageing of the grease. Furthermore the mechanical tensions of the axle is monitored by the use of methods RF and TM.
