Wind Turbine

Recorder: MATCH-II, MATCH-II-4
Evaluation Method: Rainflow (RF) & Transient Mode (TM) & Time at Level (TaL)
Channels: Two and four
Duration: Several years
Object: Blades flapwise and edgewise, tower base
Purpose: Measurement of the operating loads

Special Feature: Retrieval of collected data via Remote Link using network

To monitor the loads of the rotor blades of wind turbines (Fatigue Life Monitoring) the MAS MATCH Box is positioned on the rotor directly at the spot of the strain. In the very unfavourable electronic environment of a wind turbine, spikes in the measuring signal can be avoided by the very short connections from strain guage to amplifier. Bending moments in both plains can be measured.
